Health
Our Program educates Residents on nutrition, exercise and the benefits of living tobacco, alcohol and drug-free.
This has a positive outcome on their physical and mental health and reduces the total burden of disease in Australia, of which addicts make up 16.5%.
Family Reconciliation
Addiction starts with unhealthy relationships, while recovery promotes the reconciliation of healthy relationships.
Through our Program, many Residents reconcile with their families and develop the capacity to parent their children again. A significant number of Australian children are placed into out-of-home care due to drug and alcohol related issues.
Education &
Self-Development
During the Program, our Case Managers work individually with Residents on a goal-orientated plan for their future.
Towards the end of their time with us, we connect Residents with TAFE, Job Network providers and Training courses according to their goals and dreams.
Employability
The leadership elements of our Program teach Residents to take responsibility and help them to develop life skills, character and resilience.
Many graduates find employment after transitioning out of Transformations or after completing study.
Safe Accommodation
Our goal is to see Residents equipped to live independently in safe, drug-free accommodation.
Slowly moving graduates through our transitional housing is an essential part of seeing them succeed rather than returning to homelessness or drug-filled environments.
Meaningful Use of Time
During the Program, our Residents gain confidence and develop an awareness of how to use time wisely and purposefully, conscious of the impact on others.
The number of drug related arrests has increased by 80% over the past decade. Meaningful connections and purpose are instrumental in seeing this statistic change.
