We love our volunteers!

Since its beginning, Transformations has relied heavily on skilled volunteers to keep the program affordable and accessible to anyone who needs recovery. In 2010 over one-third of Australians 18 and over participated in volunteer work. While volunteering is a benefit to us as an organisation, it also gives the volunteer an opportunity to:
  • Express their values and passions
  • Form new relationships and connect to professional networks
  • Gain work experience and learn new skills
  • Develop themselves personally and build confidence
  • Improve their mental health and well-being as helping others brings joy and a sense of fulfilment
  • Challenge themselves in a new and encouraging environment
  • Help their community by advocating for a specific cause
  • Have fun!
